![]() Is that necessarily stated outright, no but it is implied and a thing we have speculated about. Implying that they are creatures of remnant. Like both Shadow Freddy and Shadow bonnie's pages say some interesting things about those two. The lore in this book is a lot more in the area of confirmation of details and hints as to importance. Now the important question that we have all been waiting for, is there lore? The answer is sort of. Again like why include the Yarg foxy, which is literally just a plush, and not the actual animatronic dog Fetch? It is weird how they picked some to include and others to exclude at seemingly random. Most of the Fazbears frights do just reuse characters already discussed like Ballora, glitchtrap, and Foxy but several have new animatronics that just for some reason don't make the cut. It had sea bonnies, yarg foxy, and Lonley Freddy but it didn't have things like Fetch, Ella (again), the bunny from Bunny Call, and a few others. ![]() It was also kind of selective with which of the Fazbear's Frights characters got to be included. This book does have the silver eyes trilogy included because it covers all of the twisted animatronics, though I don't think in really mentioned the charlie bots. For example, Ella, Stanley, and Theador from the novel trilogy are not included despite them being in the Freddy Files. The main cast of all the games is here as well as a lot of minor players like, JJ and Dark Springtrap. Sure most characters are here and there is a surprising amount of Special Delivery skins, which I really don't think should count unless someone can give me a good reason for them to be here instead of other distinct characters from the books. Not every character is in here as you would think from the title. They more than anything set the tone of the book. Some feel a little lore-ish but they are mostly jokes for kids. Like Vanny's say "Giving you a false sense of security", "Isn't cosplay meant to be a bit of harmless fun", and "Wow, eating carrots really does help you see in the dark." Like some of these are pretty funny for certain characters. It has 1-3 little jokes per character separated out like little one-line zingers. I would also like to mention here that the book is pretty funny. Near the end, it leans more towards characters as we have humans included but that is ok. ![]() So it has all the games FNAF 1- Security Breach (minus FNAF World), the Silver eyes novel trilogy, and The Fazbear Frights novels (sort of). So what is actually in this book? Well as it says it is a character encyclopedia, it covers all of (for the most part) the animatronics from the FNAF universe. Spoiler alert not as much lore as everyone was thinking, but still some. Should I have hoped for more, probably not, but the internet was really hyping this one up. I was really hoping for more from this one. Oh, how I have a love-hate relationship with the FNAF books.
